The position

Accountable for managing a team of planners who do the day to day planning of all fuel deliveries EFR’s customers, ensuring safe, reliable and an efficient service meeting our customer needs. The role also requires close collaboration with external 3rd party transport providers across the Benelux region as well as working closely with internal stakeholders. There is a strong focus on continuous improvement to ensure that agreed objectives become reality by optimize ongoing processes, stocks at sites and delivery costs. The position also oversees the management of our own company drivers in The Netherlands

- Ensures appropriate staffing levels by effectively forecasting resources needed to meet service, financial and operational requirements.
- Oversees carrier services and dedicated delivery processes, including contract management and performance management of 3rd party transport companies. Partner with support staff to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Develops annual operating budgets in support of the company's financial goals and responsible for P&L management.
- Controls cost through process improvement initiatives, productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of space and protection of stored materials. Ensures protection and accuracy of inventory by adhering to all inventory control processes and procedures.
- Ensures the well-being our associates and environment by ensuring a culture of safety awareness and strict compliance of all EHS and Hazmat policies and procedures.


- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of distribution / manufacturing management experience, Dangerous Goods experience preferable.
- Good communicator, written and verbal in Dutch & English, with basic French
- High energy and desire to excel and drive positive change a must.
- Knowledge of ADR
